Block Other Wi-Fi Network Signals on Your Windows PC

Stop Seeing Neighbours Wi-Fi Network on Your PC

In this tutorial, we will help you block all other Wi-Fi network names from appearing on your network list.

Open Command prompt and write the command given below:

netsh wlan add filter permission=allow ssid="YOUR WIFI SIGNAL NAME" networktype=infrastructure

Change the YOUR WIFI SIGNAL NAME to the WiFi name you wish to allow and hit Enter.

After you allow all the known Wi-Fi networks, it is time to disable or block all the other Wi-Fi networks you do not wish to see on your Windows PC.

netsh wlan add filter permission=denyall networktype=infrastructure

That’s all you need to do to bloc all the other Wi-Fi network signals you do not like to see on your Windows PC.

Enable All Blocked Wi-Fi Signals

It may so happen that you may require use of other networks in future. The following command will help you undo the previous command.

netsh wlan delete filter permission=denyall networktype=infrastructure

In order to remove the networks from your whitelist you need to type the following command in command prompt.

netsh wlan delete filter permission=allow ssid="NAME OF YOUR WIFI SIGNAL" networktype=infrastructure

How to Block a Particular Signal from Your Windows PC?

In order to block a particular Wi-I signal from appearing on your PC you need to try the following command:

netsh wlan delete filter permission=block ssid=”WIFI SIGNAL TO BLOCK” networktype=infrastructure

Type the name of the WiFi signal you wish to block in place of WIFI SIGNAL TO BLOCK.

This is all you need to do block other WiFI signals from appearing on your Windows PC.
